So, how is everything? I miss this place.. this is where I can talk to myself and really feel alive.
I think somewhere a long the way part of me died… I mean I don’t enjoy the same things before.. I lose interest very quickly in somethings. I don’t get to do what I really want and most of all I feel that there is something I should be doing rather than doing the things that I am currently doing.
Maybe the dream died? I donno… I don’t feel depress… but kinda feel numb… I have started a project to do something that is fun for me… hopefully it will last long.
Ahh I remember I am looking for something that will give me satisfaction, and that would fulfill me as a human. sigh*

so I’m back again here… looking back lots of things have happened/not happened.
time changes people, and what you may have planned before may no longer apply today.
I should admit I’m kinda lost without a plan… too afraid to give-up too afraid to change paths and re pursue my dream.
I made plans and share it to others, they execute it but I don’t… why?

today, i was rob and had a gun pointed on my head, I lost my bag my cellphone my cheap mp3 player my umbrella, some cough sirup and a 500gb seagate drive will all my “important” files in it. the ironic thing is i still have all my money, because i dont have a wallet, i keep my money on my back pocket with a paper clip.
I learned that behind the beautiful city that I live in, there are dark corners, where uneducated, under evolve, sub species of human beings live, and its just right around the corner.
lesson i learned, never carry a bag because it will encourage you to bring important things to work which would post a higher risk of getting rob or stolen.

9:10pm, so here i am age 27 i made it! cool, before i forget i want to thank the following people who have been influential to my current development.
- Mom, Dad – thank you for guiding me this far I appreciate it a lot even though i don’t show it much, i love you both, i got insurance so that when i die i wont be too much of a hassle (its better than the time deposit i was planning!)
- f0xy – thank you for sticking around i appreciate it a lot, you have brought much confusion to my life in a good way

- my brothers and sister, thank you all for sticking around too. sometimes i feel too disconnected to even say something, but i want all the best things for you all.
- my previous boss matt, i was reading an old blog entry, i must admit that i’ve learned a lot from you too, i appreciate that.
- my previous manager, thank you for the patience, trust and confidence you have given me.
- my friends, you know who you are! i don’t have much to say but thank you, and thanks for sticking around when i’m drunk

SubSonic to the rescue

This is a continuation to my post regarding my experience with LinqToSql(L2S), I was reading along other alternatives to the current ORM I am using
I saw someone mention SubSonic, so I started reading, Click Click Click.. Clicked some links and viola i found it!, it promises an easy interface and it uses “Text Template Transformation Toolkit”(T4)
the same technology L2S is using when generating the Models from the Database Schema. T4 itself is new to me, although i have dealt with code generation from my previous company likewise with my current company.
I haven’t really bothered investigating on how they approach Code Generation because I cant use it outside of my work’s scope here comes T4!! i’m getting really exited and the possibilities on where i can use it.
Anyway i’m getting off topic, so I learned today to save(persist) a record in SubSonic you just need to call .Save() how convenient is that?
the migration was pretty straight forward from L2S to SubSonic, just added some assemblies deleted my Save Hack in L2S to call .Save() pretty much that’s it!

Ants II

this is a continuation of my previous post, a couple days back I blogged about ants crawling into my desk, little did i know that they were starting to colonize my keyboard.
i just found out today when i tried to shake me keyboard to get rid of some dust… little ants falling from my keyboard…”waaaaahh”(ants falling)
I said to myself OK, maybe its time to clean this keyboard up, i went outside and started unswerving the screws.
to my surprise, lots and lots of ants are living inside my keyboard. I assume every keypress I make some ants would die and shed their blood on the plastic circuit.
I notice the rubbery push button things inside the keyboard are ruined because they have started chewing on it.
that was probably the reason why my “A” key is so soft, mystery solve lol!
